would say that they are not covered being this is a wear and tear item..

have your dealer pull up Document ID# 1671790 (or search the FAQ)
it deals with brake issues and when they are warranty issues and when they aren't.
I had some rotor warpage at like 10K miles and it was fixed under warranty, armed with that document.
Good luck :)
Yup after about the first 5 mins of driving from startup, they'll all do some sqeaking from <20mph. Thanks for the document#, I'll head to the Dealer ASAP.

Try bedding your brakes first...

i was told by my cadillac dealer that cadillac will replace a full set of brakes when it comes due for freeI just had to replace mine. The dealership, NABERS wanted $850 to do it. Tustin wanted a little under $600 for the same job. My friend who has a tire/suspension shop ordered the parts from Nabers and was told by Jesse in parts one price, but when they came in it was 60% higher than he was promised.
I wish CADDY had replaced MINE under warranty. Trying to get them to do anything makes me want to trade for a german car.

Is document ID 1671790 available on the FAQ? Can't seem to find it. On the page listing all bulletins, it jumps from 1671304 (DM05004A) and 1671273 (05-05-22-001) on June 8, 2005 to 1671918 (PIP3393a) on June 9, 2005. Can't find it in a search either. Am I looking in the wrong place/incorrectly?
