How would these handle on the V:

Wheels: 20 x 8.5

Tires: 255/35/ZR20

There is a listing for sale on these. Sorry for a repeat post but I wanted some quick feedback from the experts.

Thanx

They'll probably handle ok, but they are ugly as sin.

Oh, and BTW, I am no expert.

Thanx,

I wanted to know if anyone was running 20' rims when most seem to want to stay 19' max.

they say 20s will affect handling, and you know our roads....those narrow profile tires would get killed on the potholes.
plus they ARE terribly ugly, i wouldn't let you come over anymore :( ;)

I guess everyone has opinions about wheels, obviously totally different than whats been stated on this thread.

BTW, here is what they look like on Redline.

Urb,

I know you would'nt treat your buddy that way. I know how to bribe you:alchi: Hey can you help me with the AI stock Mod some weekend? Cigars beers and steaks plus your hourly rate away from the office as a certified wrench.:worship:

I really like the look of these wheels personally. Remember I am from MI orginally.:stirpot:

Handling wise, 20's are not a good choice. I have my Asanti's and I worry about potholes, thick driveways, and sidewalks like no other. When you go to 20" wheels, you are limited on the type of performance tire you can get. I had to settle for non-run flat Nitto NT555 Extremes. The treadwear is 300, the sidewall is soft compared to stock, and I can feel braking has suffered. If you are planning to have these wheels for looks on the street, it's a good choice as long as you are ok with being cautious everywhere you go. If you still want performance, you'll need to go with 19's. There are better tire choices to keep the performance you have and at the same time get a better look. ;)

Thanx Velose,

I still say you have the best looking Rims I have seen to date. To bad I have a Redline or I would copy your Asanti's.

Redline with black rims, black interior, and tinted windows is beautiful. It'll look better than you think.

I used to own this wagon and we got  occasionally. It's just for reference. http://public.fotki.com/Spidee/triplea/

However if you get the wheels in black with chrome lip like mine, I'll be jealous. I think it'll look better than mine.
