Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has put on the Edelbrock 2115 intake for 472 to 500 Cadillacs? If so, how was it? Worth the money? What kind of differences? Justifiable for the money? As well as losing the air conditioner? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

The Edelbrock is about 30 pounds lighter and does offer a performance gain. However, this gain can be almost completly copied by cutting the center of the plenum out of the stock intake. Go to http://500caddy.us and click on manifold to see what I am talking about.

If you do decide to go with the Edelbrock, you do not have to be without airconditioning. A couple of people make mounts that work with the R4 compressor.

I have the Edelbrock intake on my 1972 472. No problems with it yet!
