Hey everbody....Im the "new guy"... I just picked up a 93 Sixty Special about a month ago and am in love. She's Firemist blue in and out...found her in a guy's driveway for sale looking dirty and neglected...i had to have her. If anyone is wondering how many miles you can put on one of these cars, I can tell ya....everyone hold on to something solid now...she has 192,679 as of today....and she runs like a dream...she needs some love and tlc but all in all....what a car. Looks like im the second owner...never wrecked. But the price was a steal...$800 bucks....whole lotta car for that. Anyway I just wanted to say Hi to all the Sixty Special people out there as well as everyone else...and hope to be a part of the community.

Super find! 200K+ miles is not unusual for the 4.9L engine. It was the transmission that was the weaker link. Hopefully yours has been rebuilt not long ago. You'll have many more happy miles to enjoy!

Congratulations! I bought mine last month, too. Mine is black on black with 116,500 miles, and is in very good condition. It's good to hear with proper tlc, I can look forward to another 80,000 miles at least!

First nice weekend we get around here, I'm going to clay bar and Zaino both my 60-special and my Corvette, and get them looking good for the upcoming warm weather season.
