Larry take it to any car audio place and have them make you a custom box. Im putting new subs into my factory sub spot (only using about 2 inches more room) but they can really create anything you want and it doesnt have to look dorky. Or do it urself by using ideas from crutchfield.com and sounddomain.com

I think that if you can build anything yourself you can build a speaker box. just take a few measurements, go buy some wood and build and carpet your own box.....you will save tons of cash

larry-chip. it seems that you've installed an aftermarket amp :banghead: . Did you hook it up to your stock radio. I need some advice, on how to hook my PPI amp to my stock audio system. In another words, I need to add an amp and 2 subs to my escalade. Please, help.

its pretty easy....you might have to pull out the stereo deck in order to hook it up. You should receive some sort of instruction with your amp...check that out.

I dont have an amp manual. My issues are:
1. I initially was told to hook up a Hi to Low converter to the back of the Head Unit. But dont know which color wires to connect it to.
2. When went to an electronic store, the technical guy told me that if i plug a conveter, I will fry the entire stock audio system, because stock wiring are optic fiber. This is the first time I've heard this. Hope this is not true.
3. No one (even Crutfield) tell me an accurate answer, when it come to wiring connect an amp to the stock system.

I really need advice from you. Please help.

PS. Keep in mind that not GM HUs are not the same, ie my corvettes HUs set up are is not the same as of the escalade
