Nice one!!!!

Better than the Malibu in looks at least. Not bad for a 1.3l engine!

Great decision.Though ive heard those things can give you a fit sometimes. Most of the people in here will probably say that was a bad move, but no malibu can ever match the uniqueness and fun to drive factor as the RX-8.Happy driving!

I think they are slick little cars. I always enjoyed winding out the little 12A in my RX-2.

A guy I work with just bought a 2005 about 4 months ago, he seems to enjoy it. Only advice is go and buy some quarts / case of oil. The rotary burns oil by design and you should check it often. :)

How much does one of those cost anyway?

I'm going to be nice and not say anything about what I think of the car, its looks, and performance...

I love RX's & MX-5's. Fun cars to drive! Racing Beat makes great aftermarket parts for the 8. They've been doing stuff for the RX's for almost 20 years.

:) I love there products!

Yeah... we had a previous 87' RX-7 a long time back and it was equipped with a Racing Beat clutch/flywheel setup. Good stuff. Oh, and my father and I do plan to take autocrossing a bit with our local SCCA region in the future. :D Might sling the old Catera around too haha.

Dave: We purchased it for about 21k. I think they run about 27 to atleast mid-30's MSRP.

The local Jax SCCA guys are pretty nice, I haven't run up there yet. But there good people from what I hear..

They tend to guzzle down gas and oil, but who cares when you have that magic chassis and slick shifter?
