i just recently purchased a 1980 sedan deville and the interior is in not so good shape, i cant really complain though for the fact i paid only $350 for it. I was thinking about gettin the interior reuphostered and was wondering if anyone else has done so and what the cost usually run. thanks for any input :bouncy:

I think I would check out auto wreckers for a good used set of seats,
there are many years of cad. that would fit.

i was thinking more along the lines of the prices on gettin new leather or even tweed put in the car. i want to change the color because i dont like the yellow color it is now, plus the seats are cracked so i thought i might as well change it.

getting re upholstery for the seats arent that expensive anymore since you can get the material separate and then have it sowed on. Your looking at a max of 700 bucks which is the same at your local yard for a set of very clean seats. The sewing of the emblems can be costly due to how you want letters put on

Interiors cost around $100-$200 at junk yards. $700??? What a ripoff.
