BWAHAHAHA.... 1992 Brougham. Dark blue on Dark blue. 133k. They wanted 1400.... HA... can you say $221.00?

Soposenly 1500 in new parts... heater core.. tires. HA.. its got 4 "new" snow tires... but these look like the came from a off roading truck. White walls inside out. Though i did get a pair of brand new raidials... withe waslls.. never mounted. So what got me from 1400 to 221.. i know you are all wondering... is the tranny is shit... no 3rd or higher.. only up too 2nd. Which is like 25mph... i had to drive it home 60 miles. I wasnt worried bout the tranny... as its garabage anyways. Havent decided what im going to do yet.. part out or put a tranny in. I have a 86 Monte Carlo that has a 305... w/ tranny i can take... for free. Car is mine and i was going to junk.. So we will see. But im driving it around the world till.. as i got Temp plates.

Pics will come tomorrow.. after i wash it in school/shop. HAHA... (weird.. my last 90 parts car.. had a new tranny in it.. i junked it with it)

So you have three Broughams and a 96 Town Car?

Broughams and Town Cars suck and I hate them! ;)

(I say this out of immense jealousy  )

My repairs so far since buying my 1990 boat for $3500 has reached almost $2000. I had the tranny rebuilt, new heat control valve, new windsheild wiper motor, new cap, plugs, rotor and wires, new battery, new fuel pump, new fuel filter, new charcoal canister, new oxygen sensor and the digital dash and antenna are next when funds become available. So when I goto to sell my beast im expecting atleast $5000 and no I don't think that's unfair to ask for at all. Sad fact is will I get it? Probably not.

But the body is damn close to excellent condition with like 3 dime size rust spots, some minor stains on the interior from a tiny tar spill. I think the person who buys it will appreciate that they are getting a damn close to new cady with only 119k on it's miles. After I got the fuel pump replaced I figured I might as well keep the damn thing. It should last me another 150k problem free.

Caddycruiser.... Its not bad. Some bumper damage. As you can see.. Just the end though.

I Luv... I got this 92... and my 90. I Parted a 90 out a couple months ago. I also have a 96 Town Car for sale along with a 92. And a blazer i just sold today.

Evergreen.... You got to look for the deals... i paid 100 for my last parts car. a 90 Brougham.

Indy.... i dont know... id be happy with 5000 for my 90 w/86k.

I had a few people tell me... i should sell my 90 and my 96 Town Car.. pocket the money.. and fix and drive this 92. Which i really like. The color and that stuff. More options. Thoguh i wanted the cloth. And buy something else down the line. I dont know. my 90 uses way to much gas. 13mpg city... but i am very old man when i drive. so im not sure what im goign to do yet.

Funny.. my 90.. i sent to the bone yard w. a newly rebuilt tranny.. and the front bumper W/that end.

And the antenna is lose.. its a after market one. I have 2 studed snows and 2 regular snow tires.. along w/ 2 brand new white wall raials for it. All for 221

You Dog!! What a great deal, bull horns and all. You sound like a price haggler from way back, but I see that couldn't be.

The Horns are definitely not working for me.....

And dig those tires....heh heh heh.

Seriously, $221, dude, you cannot go wrong. Nice job. Body actually looked pretty decent, and the interior didn't look that bad either. Nothing you can't handle....

Nice job. Enjoy.

Even with a bad tranny shes a steal for $221!

It's ironic that you paid $221 because that car is 221" long! A dollar an inch!

Just by looking at that car, and the mileage, I would pay $3500 for it if it didnt have that tranny problem.

well when i put the tranny in i would accept that price... HAHA

1990CaddyB - if you're not going to restore that '90, would you consider selling parts off it? I'm in need of one of the "Brougham" scripts that are glued onto the rear fenders. Also could use the 4 stainless strips on the outside of each of the door windows. If you decide to part it, let me know. Tom

Prob gona let it sit around till i find a "better Parts car"...

I have all the trim from the doors from my last parts car. I was going to swap it all out with the trim on my 90. Strangly the parts car w/ 150k seemd to have better chrome.. then my 90 w/ 86k.

What color emblems? Red?

The "Brougham" script on my rear fender has red sides with a chrome surface.

Dopestar - I don't know how those dents get into that one piece of stainless. Almost looks to me like somebody hit it with a ballpien hammer or something.
