Ok, I have not even picked up the truck yet and may be jumping the gun, but wanted some input on 22 inch rims. From looking and reading do not want 24s, and the 20s look too small, although the ride would probably be a little better (the streets are rough in DC). Will order this weekend probably.

So far I like the Akuza quake, discountedwheelwarehouse has them for $2200 with Pirelli sccorpions shipping and all. A little more if you change tires to Kumo or Toyo. The Rewind is nice too at the same price

Dvinci Lox and Foose Heat are nice too, but $2700 to $3200 is pricy.

Any thoughts on the wheel, or places to buy? Is Akuza a quality wheel?

Looking for a clean wheel, easy to wipe down, that you notice, but does not dominate the truck (no spinners, jewels, etc).

Thanks!!

Easiest to clean would be #1 and #4. Anything with tons of crevices or different moldings in the wheel will make it hard to clean. Nice flat or round surfaces are easy to wipe. When you have to get into the nooks and crannys then get ready to spend some time on your butt wiping them down.

I think # 1 looks best. What part of D.C. are you located?

I am leaning towards #1, because it is different and easier to keep clean. Thanks for the feedback. I am in Northern VA.

What about tires, today at one tire shop the guy said he had lots of people bring the pirellis back. He recommended Nittos and going uo from a 40 to a 45. He said they were much better and no problems. He could do the whole set up on #1 for $2500, and I can upgrade to differnet tires at discountedwheelwarehouse including the Nitto for an extra $140, for a total of $2349 out the door.

Cburand you can goto the little shops(normally mexican owned) and get the azuka's for around 2 G's out the door. These ones may be a little bit more than mine were, but the most expensive 22's (not gold, or with jewels, etcetc) were 2200. I would call around a little bit more, and if you goto one of these mexi shops with cash u may get an even better deal.Good luck. the 500 could be a grille or exhaust.
Dont go Pirelli,. BFG is teh best i think but most expensive. Toyo's are good and not too expensive or go with the tirethe shp told u to get, they know tires mroe than we do

none of those are clean IMO (#1 is the closest). Intro makes some very nice clean wheels:
