I wasn't able to come up with anything by searching, but has anyone successfully been able to remove the rear window limiter? Is it even possible? I would like to be able to roll them all the way down.

im fairly sure the window motor regulator only allows movement so far. it would be nice to be able to put them all the way down though.

Yah this bugs me alot, I'd love to have my rear windows roll down all the way. Once the weather got warmer I was going to take apart one of my rear doors and see if I can find anything out, but it's still too damn cold.

I was thinking if it wasn't just a block behind the door panel, if maybe it would be possible to put the parts from a front door assembly on there and have them go all the way down. It definitely would be nice to have them all the way down for Spring Break and this coming summer.

I agree! I'd love for the rears on my STS to go down as well!

Check the trailing edge of your doors guys. The window is limited, because the glass will hit the area that is cut out for the rear tire. I would assume that you probably could get it to lower a little more, but all the way, won't happen. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

my DTS rolls down all the way :) Combine that with a moonroof and a nice day and theres nothing better. Have to blast that bose system of course
