View Full Version : Beautiful '95 in MA that needs tranny work...cheap... caddycruiser 02-26-06, 01:46 AM This car is beautiful, and the interior looks a lot better than most of the ragged junkers you see. Plus only has 81k miles. Needs a tranny, but if you can pick it up cheap enough...

The seller seems to think it's almost junk yard quality, but the pics tell a different story...at least to me. davesdeville 02-26-06, 06:38 PM Item location: sandwich, MA

Haha, wow, I didn't even notice that. Kind of like Hamburg, PA... 1990CaddyBrougham 02-27-06, 08:22 PM i may bid.. its local...
then strip it.
I saw it earlier. Look really nice. May be worth puttign a tranny in instead or parting. I~LUV~Caddys8792 02-27-06, 08:52 PM i may bid.. its local...
You should! Then you can have the '87 Brougham, the '90 Brougham and a '95! Shit, you could practically start a Fleetwood mueseum! 1990CaddyBrougham 02-27-06, 11:01 PM i dont have a 87.
But i am really looking to buy this car if it stays under a certain price. It may stay cheap like this... I bought my 96 Town Car (w/62k) here for 600. It had a blown motor. But a fine car otherwise.
Then when i get it going... id proabably want to drive it.. or like it more then my 90.
Never had one. Thoguh i dont like the color... i like my car better looks.. but this has the power.. 1990CaddyBrougham 02-28-06, 11:02 PM Car is at more then i want to spend now.... caddycruiser 02-28-06, 11:15 PM Car is at more then i want to spend now....
I guess more people are realizing how nice it looks... fullserviceman 02-28-06, 11:24 PM I would go $2500 on it but I am weary of the underbody Being I got 2 trucks out of that area that all the underbody was gone. Looks good but seems everyone on ebay thinks so too:( Only up to $1012, and 19 hours to go... 1990CaddyBrougham 03-02-06, 12:17 AM if it stays there.. i may be right over it.
I would look to drop a tranny in and then turn it over.
Really guys.. how much do you think would be good value to re sell? caddycruiser 03-02-06, 11:09 AM if it stays there.. i may be right over it.

Given the mileage, the fact that it's a '95 (typically regarded as the best year), and that it looks very clean and straight, I'd say $4000 or maybe a little more.
Depends on the rust level... HotRodSaint 03-02-06, 11:58 AM I'd never buy it based on the rust that's seen in the pictures. I wonder what's not seen?? I'd never buy it based on the rust that's seen in the pictures. I wonder what's not seen??I agree, the engine compartment would scare me away. I wouldn't want to touch that with a ten foot pole! caddycruiser 03-02-06, 03:48 PM I'd never buy it based on the rust that's seen in the pictures. I wonder what's not seen??
Actually, now that I think about it, I sort of agree...seeing the rust on the outside sheetmetal kind of scares me about what might be "unseen". caddycruiser 03-02-06, 06:51 PM Went for $1,088 reserve met, so even a little rusty, someone got a darn good deal... |
