hi guys,
on my 1997 eldorado,
i replaced the compressor, condenser, accumulator and just about everything.
I know how to clear the acm codes from the console, but i have an acm code of B1315 that will not clear.
even after disconnecting the negative cable for about 10 minutes, it still will not clear.
which means, i cannot get my compressor to engage to charge the system.
any ideas ?

B1315 - Evaporator Inlet Temp Sensor Short Circuit

If the circuit and the connection are good, then the sensor is bad. You will not clear the code because everytime you call for A/C the code will reset.

where is the Evaporator Inlet Temp Sensor located ?
i have both service manuals., and i cannot find a location on this item ??
is there a way to short past it like you would the low pressure switch ?

since i did not have this error before i started, i am thinking that maybe
i did not reconnect something in my efforts.
if i knew where this part was located i could check it out.

Unfortunately, I no longer have my '97 manual. As I recall, there were only 3 line sensors on the car. Low pressure sensor (by the accumulator), Low side temp sensor (along the firewall, passenger side) and high side temp sensor (along the firewall, drivers side), unless they are talking about an inlet air tempurature sensor. Maybe ewil3rd will chime in here. He probably has a better idea. If not, check with Kevin (KHE) at caddyinfo. He's the A/C guy over there.
