Hello again, my 1992 Seville has problems with bother front doors. When the car is off and locked and you pull on the door handle the interior lights should turn on for a few seconds then turn off but they dont. One day they just started turning on and off every 2 minutes or so and wouldnt stop so I narrowed it down to the passenger side relay in the door. I simply pulled the plug inside the door and it disabled it. A few weeks later the driver door did the same thing. I cant figure out what piece to buy to replace. Now the doors do nothing when you pull on the handle. What is the name of the piece I need or what do I need to do to get this working again?

You might check the retained accessory power illuminated entry module (Rapie) which is located in the rear rh electronics bay in the trunk. Not sure how to trouble shoot this but, from the factory service manual, it appears to be the brains behind the whole process.

Have you had any luck with this problem?
I have the same thing going on with my car...took me a while to realize it because the previous owner had removed all of the interior lamps!!! I haven't torn in to the door panel yet, but I think it's the driver's door as the interior handle is broken. I'm assuming that the "Rapie" may be getting constant signal due to the broken handle.
