I checked out an 07 at my dealer and my first impression is I didn't care for the new seats.

Do they seem smaller to you than the older model?

If you'd done any extensive driving with your new 07 do you feel the new seats are more comfortable than the older model?

Do you think the new seats are better or worse?

This is my first Escalade so I don't know how it compares to the previous models. However, I really love these seats!......very comfortable and the quality of the leather is excellent. Coming from a BMW 5 series with Comfort Seats, I find the Escalade's to be right up there. The only thing I might find lacking is more lateral support with bigger side bolsters, but then again, this is no sports sedan.

i don't own a 2007 (i own the 05), but i did spend some quality time in a 2007 a couple weeks ago. When comparing the 07 seats with the 05 seats, i definitely think the 05 seats are nicer and more comfortable. the differences between the front seats on both models isn't as noticable, but the 05 second row and third row seats are much better. the 07 second row seats are narrower and flatter and the third row seats in the 07 look and feel terrible. For $65K, i would expect something nicer and i don't understand why they would take a step backwards here. don't get me wrong, i'm a fan of the 07, but hopefully they address a few shortcomings in 08.
