I'm getting about 14.6mpg on average according to the in dash display. Is this normal or is it sucking a little more fuel than it should?

Where are you driving...urban,suburban,rural,highway?
How long are your trips...1-2mi,5mi,10+ ?
Hows your driving style...aggressive,conservative,on-off gas constantly(worst),smooth(best)?

What kind of driving do you do?? If its mostly short trips (around 5 miles) in the city then id say thats probably average to just slightly below....

It is often less than 10 miles....usually in city....I realize that cars get worse mileage with city driving...I just thought it would be a tad higher...oh well, that's cool. Thanks guys!

The thing is when you drive short trips the car doesnt have a chance to get into full operating temp, and it stays in the rich warm up mode.... Once you reach that, it will even things out...

You could replace the Tstat to ensure that your heating up as fast as possible... The actual stat does fail, but the rubber seals disintigrate and let coolant through.... you could also replace you coolant temp sensors to ensure optimum reading.. OVerkill, maybe.... Its your call!!!
