Hi everyone, I am new to Cadillacs, I got my parents 1991 Fleetwood FWD with only 34,000 kms on it. I guess I am wondering if anyone out there has the same car, is it reliable, are parts expensive?, etc. Does anyone notice a thump from the front suspension, over a moderate bump? I have a 91 Fleetwood FWD with over 450,000 KMS.
So, I guess it is pretty reliable.
Mine thumps at the rear, but I know the shocks are shot.

Yes the car is reliable (at least the engine is). Yes the car is expensive to fix (it's a Cadillac isn't it?). And finally, the thumping is probably due to either the sway bar links or the struts. These are the most common but anything loose COULD be causing the noise.

my 90 deville thumps on bumps but i think my shocks have had it.
