Anyone have an aftermarket moon roof? I'm sure 99% of lades come with the roof, but mine did not. Brands? Costs? Opinions?

I have the factory one. But I was talking to a guy for a friend of mine and he was saying that the aftermarket installs today are just as good if not better than factory. Make sure you do go to a reputable place that has been around for a while.

I dont have one but before I bought my truck, I was offered another truck without a roof, and was quoted 1500.

Black Lac it's obvious you're thrilled with your new Lade and anxious to modify it. I hope you will post pics of all your mods.

Like spittin game said, make sure they're reputable. I've heard and seen many horror stories...butchered headliners

It's not like years ago where the sunroof's always leaked, most of the companies installing the ones today are very good.

Also to add:
Its a nice feature to add, but I personally don't use mine much and usually forget its even there. lol :)

I'm sure it won't raise your value of your car very much either.

I would think you Cali boys would have them open all the time, I use mine a lot, and I love the super large sunroof on my SRX, of course at 20 degrees it's not open much. :)

Yeah, I have a good use for it. I hunt waterfowl in the winter and I tie a kayak to my roof. It's nice to see the kayak when it needs to be retied, instead of seeing it in the rearview mirror!

I could care less about the value, becuase I am planning on driving this Lade into the ground!

I went to go get lunch today and opened mine up instead of rolling down my windows. Its not bad... but when I opened this thread, I realized I forgot to close it. And on top of that, I forgot to lock my truck!!! My Viper seems to not lock it from here.

Don't get any ideas now... :)
