Regular Production Options = RPO.
SPO = Special Production Option (aka, like 9C1 options, etc)
CPO = Corporate Production Option (special stuff that corp office must approve, likely not used much anymore, or replaced by SPO)
Like my ride: V4P, GU6, G80, FE2, and of course, LT1.....

These get changed year to year.... New ones get added too.. What year is this list from?
Agreed, but many do last for a long time, like engine codes, LS1, LT1, L92, LS6, LS7, etc.
I don't know if there is any way to know year to year what codes were and were not used, nor a list of each code used for each year. But it would be fantastic to have.
Maybe GM can help??? Anyone got any contacts on the inside?
Like Y72. In 1976 it was HD Cooling. (http://www.nastyz28.com/gm-rpo-codes/rpo-xy.php notes some by year though). In other years it became Parts Package Headliner.
