I have 98 Eldo ETC, and for the past few months the Service Engine light has come and gone. The first time I had a dealer check it out and they found nothing, cleared everything and it was fine for a while. The second time I ran for codes and only got history codes, and the light went off after I ran them.
This time it came on and I have history codes again.
PCM 0300, 0603, 1599
-all history codes but the light remains on.
Any thoughts suggestions?
I cleaned the TB about 2k miles ago, spark plugs 2k miles ago. 102K on the car.
No other issues to indicate anything???

The 0300 is misfire. I'd change the plug wires next.
I'm with Zonie. P0300 is misfire and P1599 is stall or near stall detected. P603 is probably from pulling battery power.
B1327 - Vehicle system voltage below 9.0 volts.
Maybe time for a battery.

Thanks guys. I just got a new battery within the last 8 mo. So I don't think a battery is a problem.
My mech. said the pulg wires looked ok, but perhaps it is time.
Thanks for the code readings.
Any other suggestions are appreciated.
You can't tell bad wires by looking at them.
I have had batteries fail in 6 months. In fact, I have had them bad right off the shelf, so don't overlook the battery with that code just becasue it is only 8 months old. Check it out. Low voltage will cause these cars to do all sorts of wierd things.

The replacement of plug wires has appeared to cure the issue and the service engine light is off. Thanks boys!

I have a '97 STS - Anyone know the keypad sequence I need to display the computer codes? Mine has the passenger seat temp adjust 1 to 5 up or 1 to 5 down, over at the extreme right.
I think yours might be OFF & PASSENGER WARMER. If you don't have that combo, then it should be INFO UP & OFF.
