It Sat. 12:20 am ticket 68 in a 40...

Cop must have been 21-24(rookie) which unfortunately means I don't know anyone who knows him personally.

Anyhow any of the Miami guys ask around I think I have a few hours/days before the system won't boot the ticket out, then I HAVE to go to court which eats me day.

P.S. I went to rent a video with my gf I saw 40 and I was coasting at 45-50 MAX. Really don't think I deserve this one...

$50 and he'll take care of it. At most you are going to have to pay a fine of 160 bucks.
I got a ticket 90 on a 45 and took it to trail (my lawyer went) paid 200 fine and 50 for him , no points withhold of adjudication no problem. yes it costs money but thats what I get for being an idiot.

I never go trial, I go sit in front of the judge, they say you want a deal pay blah blah blah no points and slow it down...

I get tickets like once every 4-5 years so when they see my record they are pretty good to me...

Think its "court fees" the only thing they make u pay.

More exposure for what though? That you were caught speeding?

If you were only going 45 in the 40, how did he detect 68? That's quite a jump. If he hit you with radar going that fast, had it calibrated as to procedure, and wants to stand behind his ticket, there's not much you can do.

If you were in fact going only 45 in a 40, you have good reason to dispute it. But if he has record of you doing 68, I don't know how far you will get...






I like to speed and do it regularly. Please don't cry when you get caught though.

First of all... while I hate being caught as much as the next guy, and think alot of cops CAN be *******s when they want to be... theres just NO WAY that a cop would be DUMB enough to see 68 on his radar gun and not KNOW the difference between 68 and 45. Hell I pass cops in Tampa doing 58 in a 40 and they dont even so much as look the other way, so if he had you at 68 in a 40mph zone... you were doing at least 60, and 20mph over is enough to get taken in on wreckless driving if he really wanted to make your night a nightmare. Let it go.
