Many times someone on the forum mentions a part like the cradle bolts, shifter mechanism, etc, and I would like to see the part, without taking the car apart or trying to see under it. Are the factory service manuals available on line for free or a modest price. I checked the web and I found them for $135. Thanks

I simply broke down and ordered one last week. More or less for your listed reasons. As certain questions come up that I can't find on the FAQ site, I'd just as soon look it up. UPS says it will be here monday :)

Too late !! ;)

Urb mentioned something to me, but I decided I wanted to go ahead and get one. A "gear head" friend of mine could look through it and pass on some wisdom if needed.

Good news, both the service manuals and LS1Edit showed up today. Now I can get into some serious trouble. :)

Thanks for your responses. Looks like you need to pay the $135 to get one.
