Dude...hate to say it but many Escalade buyers don't give a crap about $10k...and are willing to pay it to be the first on the block with an 07. My SRT-10 was the same way. They were selling 10k over list or more when they first came out. Now you can get them for 10 under!

I remember seeing the new current design for the first time and not liking it at first or at least being shocked at the bold, sharp edges. Of course after seeing it a few times I knew I had to have one. I don't dislike this new design, but as you say "eh," it doesn't really jump out at you like the bold current design. For me I won't pass any final judgement until I see it several times. This new design will grow on me....I'm sure of it.

over sticker is for suckers... i don't care how hot a new car is, a new ride is never worth above msrp... if you want a new body style really bad when it first comes out find a rural dealer, they will always deal ! ! ! no matter how hot the new style is...

Who's paying MSRP anyway? I stopped by my dealer yesterday to inquire about ordering one. I asked what they price would be and they told me $1,000 over invoice and I would have it in two weeks. I am sure with a little dealing I can have it for invoice. I think with all the tech upgrades it is well worth the price. I am planning to order one in a day or two.

I am paying $200.00 over invoice, I refuse to pay sticker price for any car, but I guess that is why I am still waiting for my 06' Z06. :(

When all you guys are planning on selling your rims because of the upgrade to the 2007's, let me know so I can buy them from you. I am looking to buy a set of 24's or 26's. Let me know when you want to make the deal. Haha.

I am waiting for a z06 for sticker also. EVery one that pops up on ebay i offer msrp for, so far no takers. They will in due time.

Dealer by my house marked up a z06 $30,000.00 over msrp.

Some people with money to burn don't care about the bottom line.
They go from vehicle to vehicle whenever a new one comes out, and as long as their monthly payment is the same it doesn't matter to them.
They're going to get the next one when it comes out and their monthly payment is just part of their life because they don't ever plan on paying them off... just keep upgrading.
Right now the way things are if you ever get to where your vehicle is paid off... if you finance it.. it's not worth anything when it's time to trade.
I have an 04 EXT .. paid 48k.. minus 23K for my trade and financed 25 K ..
I've had it for 19 months and the Blue book is down to 38K ..
In another 4-5 months when I go to look at the new EXT's most likely my 04 will be down around 36K... 37k .. if I'm lucky.
Don't help much for a trade after exactly 2 years.
Will look for the best deal on price but if the finance payments stay the same I'll probably go for.
It's a wash even if I don't pay top dollar... Go figure.
