I'm wondering if the 6 lug viper wheel would fit on the V,
you can get their spare rim for about 100 bucks including tire,
Does anyone know if i could use this tire as a spare????????????????
they have some sick bbs for the car cheap but with 13" wide rear rims:canttalk:
too bad the v would never be able to accomodate

No.

The Durango, Dakota and Viper are 6 x 114.3 mm (4.50") which is oh-so-slightly different than the V's 6 x 115 mm (4.53").

Definite recipient for a little "diameter adjustment".

I'd be willing to give it a try... 114.3 vs. 115 is close enough for a spare MHO.

alcast082... where do i get one for $100?

If your speaking of the SRT-10, I just took off the rears, but did not try to mount for fear of scratching them. I believe they are too thick from putting them up against the Vs. Also the SRT 10s are 19inch at the rear. I have never seen the rims on Ebay for less that 250 a piece.

The half-size spare tire for the Gen 1 viper:

Your car (04) doesn't have a spare right?

Correct, I though the reference was to the existing runflats.

Dreamin - I think benjet is refering to the lug pattern of those wheels, which, while close numerically, is still a totally different pattern...

alcast082 - the best bet for a spare is just to use an OEM wheel with a full size tire turned upside down in the spare tire well. It does fit.

Dreamin - I think benjet is refering to the lug pattern of those wheels, which, while close numerically, is still a totally different pattern...Well, I had a set of MOMO Sports on my SHO that were originally for a Mercedes E-class. Victoria Tire redrilled the bolt pattern because it was fairly close to the SHOs pattern. Never had any problems, the car even got some track time at RoadAtlanta on those things.

Well i'm going to find out if it works...

Just ordered a Viper Spare.
Tirerack has a 'compact' tire tall enough
Will probably have to get a spacer made...

This wont be the easiest solution... :banghead:
but it'll be the lightest...
