Ok its me agin with the 91 eldorado 4.9 not n* cleaned the throttle body the tubes inside the trottle body are dirty looks like shit in them i cant get it out used throttle body cleaner didnt help is this colsning my stupid idle ran it today havent noticed the idle problem for about a week or more drove it for about 2 hrs on freeway today got off the freeway just fine then on my way home when i came to stop it started it somthing clogged when it runs it runs good and there is no loose of power when it idles rough its just agrevating its a cadillac its suppose to run smooth i need help :thepan:
The tubes you are describing are your EGR tubes. They need to be cleared. Take a heavy wire coat hanger or some other stiff wire and rod those puppies out, use carb cleaner with it to help loosen the crud and clean them. Make sure the rest of the TB is still clean and do the idle re-learn again when you are finished.

A period . . . . once in a while. Maybe an occasional capital letter (especially if it's an "I") . . . . that's all I ask.

You must know it makes it difficult for us to read your post. I had to read your post three times in order to understand it. You'll get better results if you make your posts more readable.
Now we've endlessly been through this spelling/grammar thing before and I don't wish to start a rant, but please, treat us as you'd like to be treated and don't waste our time making us search through a post to gain understanding of it.
