The better driver wins.

It's potato vs. potatoe.

I might be wrong saying this, but who is driving? :)

No, really I think the '05 would. From what I understand from some C6 owners, the LS2 doesn't respond to heat very well. We aren't talking car lengths difference but it's enough by a quarter panel maybe.

... who wins??????:hmm:The Stealth Gray one.:yup:

If the only difference power wise is the engine I would have to say the LS2 would win.....look at the curve. It's all about the area under the curve.

F-16 vs F-18 in a dogfight.
Comes down to the skills of the pilot and some unmeasureable amount of luck.

Maybe if you jump up an down in the seat it would give you an advantage either way! Like a shifter cart!

I own an '06 and have driven '05s on several occassions. If both cars are driven well I think it's a dead heat. The '06 feels faster to me because there's more torque at a variety of RPMs and I think the '06 would win if drivers aren't skilled because it is easier to drive fast. That said, the cars are identical for the most part with engines producing the same peak HP ... it's a tossup.
