So, the other day my wife (jokingly I think... ) told me that she kinda felt like I've been seeing another woman since we have got the V. Especially since I've started refering to the car as "she" I told her it was a typical guy thing.

But, it got me thinking, how many of you guys have named your V?

Kelly (brave warrior) I looked it up in a baby naming book. I figured she had to be brave to hadle what the tristate area throws at her. Shes a bruiser. I love her.

I call mine "My Car". I know, I know, it seems unorthidox. It was the first thing that popped into my head, so I just went with it.

Examples:
1. "Hey guys, that's "My Car".
2. "Would you like to drive in "My Car"?
3. "Someone tried to race me in "My Car" and "My Car" won". etc...etc...

It took a long time for me to get used to this name, but after a while, believe it or not, it started to stick. Now it just seems to rolls off my tongue naturally. Sometimes I call it "My Car" without even thinking about it. "My Car" doesn't really seem to care one way or the other, but having this name makes me feel good, so I think I'll keep using it.

Other people just can't seem to get it right, they keep calling it "Your Car". "They say, is that "Your Car"? Huh? That makes NO sense!

Me and "My Car" just play along.... :)

Never named the pecker either.

I used the same technique for naming MY pecker. If you haven't already guessed, I call it, Pierre Consuelo Gómez Diego Sanchez the 3rd.

My wife and I call ours Fuku. It is the name of an anime character, one that is small and cudly in looks, but when it gets upset it is VERY powerfull. Kinda like the V, if you do not know what you are looking at it's "just another Caddy", but when the fun-pedal comes in to play... Watch out :)

hadn't thought of it until now...
then thought arrO had the right of it...
But if I had to christen her it would be Moraine.
A character Robert Jordan came up with in his Wheel of Time saga.
...and strangely enough; I'd end up seeing my self as Lan, her Warder...

(go figure)

:hmm:
