After making a horrible racket a few times, now my sunroof wont stop closing at the roof, it just keeps right on going to the vent position. Any suggestions? By the way, changes water pump today, you guys made it easy as pie!

There are two possible reasons for this problem. My 99sts did the same thing only it was intermittent and I never heard the noise you described. Number one there is a limit switch in the motor, this is what I think your problem is because of the noise you heard before encountering the problem. The second problem would be the moon roof module. That is what was wrong with mine. It took going back to the dealer about five or six times to get them to repair it under my extented warrenty.
