The stainless strips along the windows on 3 of the 4 doors have dents in them. Like some numbskull hit them with a tool or something. How hard are these to remove and replace? Could they be straightened satisfactorily, or is that a lost cause with stainless? Anybody know where to find good ones? Any help / hints / advice appreciated. (Here's a picture) Tom

It should be pretty easy to get that at a junk yard. I don't know how it comes off but sometimes it's screwed on and you have to take the window out to get to the screws.

My guess would be it is eld on with clips . Since you are going to replace them anyhow just try to pry up on them carefully not to scratch the paint .

Easist way to find out is to goto the junkyard and rip one off of the doors your not gonna use and see how it was applied to the door. Once you see how it was placed on it should be cake when removing it from your pride and joy of car.
