: What colour for the grill?

Dropped off the grills for powder coating and they gave me three options. I couldn't decide so what to people recommend.

Whatever you do, you gotta post pics. I mean, I love our grills - very distinctive - but, I'd really like to see it blacked out. Don't think I could go that route, but I gotta see it.

Hey Ricker!! I don't know what Satin would look like, but I picked the step above flat black. Gloss is going to be too shiny, IMO. My choices were flat black, jet black and gloss black. If it's flat, I think it would be a bit drab compared to the V's paint. Gloss would have to much shine and would contrast too much. Jet has enough depth without the distracting shine. So if Satin is a flat black, go with semi. But if Satin has ANY shine, go with that.

Either way, you're gonna have a sweet lookin' V!!! I think the Platinum always looked so clean because the silver mesh grilles flow so well. But with black grilles on a black V...good night.
