neato presidential fleet on ebay at the moment

also an interesting limo conversion, which a high roofline I havn't seen too much of before... presidential as well it seems!

I really dislike the roofline on that mother though. loooooads of the ol' headroom, but lacking in graceful or "sextacular" lines. functional if you're the president and need lots of... headroom for ducking in and out. might provide more rigidity or something too. (maybe to allow for bulletproof glass)

As we can see from this nice little 1:24th scale Caddy Prez. limo, the president's does have a higher roofline. interesting, but ugly.

check this sweet lincoln too:

the lincoln's roofline is also changed, but looks a little less awkward. cool models nevertheless, but i wish they were 1:18th.

this was probably a pointless post, but on that presidential theme, let's end on this note:

Go Patriot II, you are a hot, hot automobile.

Yeah, the first one is just a "dealer special", made from some stickers, a custom grille, and an aftermarket vinyl top. Nothing new...it's like the hundreds of different "special" packages they've made up for things like Town Cars and Grand Marquis anymore. Just tacky to me.

As for the limo, that was on Ebay before and does look very odd, but is actually a conversion thing they do sometimes. Rarely, but it is done occasionally. On that car, it REALLY makes it look "presidential", doesn't it?

Weird, but still like there must be someone very important inside...

I like the 94 or 95 Fleetwood limo in the movie The Lord of War. That was a nice car!

The roof treatment on the limousine is called "professional glass" and is always seen on the real presidential limousine. Limousines and hearses used by high end funeral homes are usually ordered with professional glass since it is extremely formal. The limousine on eBay is a bit tacky and overdone and I'm surprised someone would do the professional glass on a party car.
