Was on another thread before and the subject of rising US gas prices came up so I thought.. why not do a thread to compare cross atlantic prices to run your cadillac.
So.. theres a good starter, what are US gas prices really like now??? ours in Enland are about 4.80 per gallon (approx $8.00 US per gallon).

I pay €1.30 per liter 98 Super Plus (premium). Is about $5.91 per Gallon.
That 100 Ultra or V-Power stuff would run for about €1.36 per liter. ($6.18 per Gallon)

Hello...
Using an exchange rate of 1USD = .82EUR

1 gallon of Premium= $2.50USD or 2.06EUR (about 0.63EUR/liter)...
1 tankful= 45USD or 37EUR
Considerably cheaper on this side of the Atlantic.

Miminum wage in the US = $5.15 per hour...
or the equivalent of 2 gallons per hour.

What are minimum wage standards in Europe?
How many liters of gas can you buy with 1 hour of wages?

Minimum wages are set per month and is about €700. That's about $854 monthly. That wouldn't buy you a lot of gas. Actually, that wouldn't even allow you to own a car!

And I lived on that wage for some period driving my bicycle...

Hmm so your minimum wage ends up being very close to what ours would end up being at 40hrs per week.

Gas here is about 2.33/gal for 86 octane (R+M)/2. So yeah, you're getting the shaft kinda.
