My nav unit was replaced due to a peeling knob and now the car will not go into competition driving mode. The TSB is not in the CTSV Faq anymore. Anyone have a newer TSB number?

Until I can impliment a search (which will be a while since they are all PDFs), simply "view all bulletins" and do a text search (edit--> find on this page)...

If anyone has any experience with PHP searching thru PDFs, let me know

That TSB doesn't really address the problem you have. It addresses the calibration number of the Tech II.

You need to go back to your dealer and tell them that they need to perform the radio setup through the Tech II. It's in special functions IIRC.

I had the same program and basically the dealer needs to program the Nav unit for a V and not CTS. It's very annoying to have to return to the dealer for a problem that should have been avoided on the dealers end but it happens and is not a big deal. In my case I have had to return several times because my dealer just hasn't paid attention to details like this.

It should be simple. I used my Comp Mode daily so it sucked not having it.

Make sure you let them know what the Tech 2 update is. My dealer had no idea and had to get on the phone with a GM engineer to get the process rolling. Don't let them tell you differently; you need the Tech 2 ;)

Got5onit,

I put in a '06 rear and my comp mode and abs trouble lights came on. Was your abs light on as well? I'm wondering if I should take it to the dealer. Do they have to reflash the ECM? I have a tune i'd hate to lose.

As far as the radio goes, a lot of techs don't realize that most of the newer radios require a "setup" procedure.
I must confess I got burned a few times.
Now I always check the manual and do any special setup procedures that are required.
Most of them used to be plug and play, not so anymore.
Glad they got it fixed.
