: Trans shift funny from D to R or R to D?

My 4L60E when I go from D to R and gas it relatively short time, seems like it shifts and is not in gear yet. My other cars have never been like this.

Is this a known issue? Is this something in trans (PCM) programming? If I wait, it is fine, but have to wait more like 2 seconds to fully feel engaged. Just too slow if you ask me. My THM350, THM400 were all MUCH faster, my 4T60E and 4T60 (non E) were nothing like it, but still slower than the THM350 and THM400.

I get the same in My Caprice (haven't driven the Fleet in awhile since away for winter storage) since I back into my parking spot every day at work. I'll pull up to the spot and line myself up to back in, shift into Reverse, and have to wait a brief moment before the tranny decides to engage. No biggie, always has been normal and my car only has 40K miles.
Only happens from D into R however, so must be the PCM taking its sweet time.
