Anybody here play?

Online or with friends.

I usually play online in Yahoo games and I play with 10-20 friends every Friday night in person. We usually have two tables going. Its fun to play in person then online. Wondering if you guys play and where, and any tips.

I play occasionally on PokerStars, usually just $10 Sit and Go's. Anybody can look me up, AZCorvette. Right now I'm down to $80, a little down on my luck!

I play with friends once in awhile, and play online on party poker and pacific poker sometimes. Good way to pass the time.

I'm a pretty serious player, mostly at casinos and in tournaments. I play a weekly neighborhood $20 buy-in game with friends, which is the real appeal of poker IMO. I play online at pokerroom.com usually and fulltilt.com if im using a pc not a mac. I'm up online, the style of play suits me and my experience, I've made the most money off online players by a substantial lead. im less than even with casino play and cash games.

When I play, it's with actual people. That is the best way to play because online gaming doesn't seem to let anyone's 'tells' out on the table that I'm aware of (not that I have ever played online anyways). If I can actually see the person I'm playing, the better the game will be.

^i agree, online is only quasi-poker if that, but it is a great tool for learning statistics and math. it also is a good place to take advantage of the weak player and increase your earnings. other than that, it's a good place to use as a personal training ground, for example if you need to step up your aggressive game play, or practice your conservative tournament strategy, online is a risk-free and inexpensive place to play around.

Online poker doesn't really appeal to me. Takes alot less "skill," not that I have skill but I still have more skill than my friends.

I play about every weekend with friends. Usually around a $150-200 pot. That's big money man!
