When I first saw GM's photos of that black/red interior I didn't like it. :helpless:

Now that I see untouched pics of it, I can say I absolutely hate it. I fear how ill I would become should I ever see it in person. :vomit:

The wood trim just makes it worse and does not go together with that color scheme in any way. Perfect way to destroy an $80k car. :hitstick:
They need an automatic wood delete option for anyone choosing that color scheme.

That first silver car with the dark interior is sex though. :cloud9:

Hi Leigh - I was totally in your camp with hating the black and red interior on the STS-V when I saw it in the photos, but yesterday I was at the Philadelphia Auto Show and they had an STS-V there with the black/red interior.

Much to my amazement it looked a lot better in real life than in any photos I have seen of it. The red is WAY darker in person than it appears in photos. Don't know why, but it was more of a deep autumn-leaf burgundy-rust color on the car I saw than the tomato red it looks like when photographed. Maybe flash photos skew the hue of it?

That said, I'd still go for the solid black interior myself. Kinda wish they'd offer a two tone interior using black and a dark brown or dark khaki color, similar to the Mercedes Designo combinations. Problem with two tone interiors is that if the contrast between the colors is too harsh it just looks tacky, IMO. Of the three cars here, the first silver car is the best looking interior.
