I have some problems with my 1994 Deville. The 4.9L machine

1.- The idle speed in cold weather is very low. I tryed to unscrew the aceleration top but when i start the car. this screw go to initial position. I do not what to do. The engine stops many times.

2.- Only in some ocassion, when I throttle in overdrive, the motor (http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=63409#) have a "little jumps" the move forward is not smooth.

It sounds like you are talking about the ISC (idle speed control) motor. Do a search for it. There is a simple proceedure to properly adjust it. If you hear it racheting when you shut down, then it is on the way out.
