Can I do this in my 2000 DTS? I used to do it all the time for my '95 Eldo for codes and such... I just dont know if it can be done on my current wife (DTS)

Yes, you can access the OBD codes on the 2000 DTS.
Press and hold the "On/Off" and "Info up" buttons and the DIC will display codes.
The "On/Off" button=yes;
The "Info reset" button=no.
Use "Info up/down" to scroll through;
To exit, just turn key off or press the "Display" button on the left.
