Very pretty.

But it's Italian, so it will be tempremental.

And if you guys think the old British Lucas electrics are bad, wait until you try some Italian stuff...

Miura
Ding! A winner...
The top one is actually a used engine that a guy cleaned all up and uses as the base of a glass-top coffee table..quite a conversation piece, I suppose.
Getting all those Webers to sing the same tune must be a nightmare...
I just happened to come across a site where a guy is rebuilding a Miura..it does seem like a hell of a job..the car has rust everywhere.. :crying:

But they do sound nice...

Neat coffee table for sure. I've seen a few like that. My favorite was a ZR1 'Vette motor. Still, these engines belong in the cars and not my living room. Makes me sad to think about what happened to the car it came from! It's not like there is a factory churning out Miura parts.

Nothing like singing down draft Webbers, or are those SU's? They make a great set of sidedraft IRTB's for my Miata. But man does it sound like a ticked off swarm bumble bees.

Arent the downdraft Weber carbs very unreliable?

I am not an expert, but Webers were used on high performance Italian and English sports cars extensively throughout the 60s and early 70s, before F/I became commonplace. They are/were a bitch to keep in sync, but from what I hear, what Holley is to American muscle, Weber is to everything else...

They do look neat too... :o

Dunno if that'll fit... But if my northstar ever eats it, one of these it going in:

Potter's already gonna do a 93 Eldo 500ci. (although that's his EMC engine, those headers would never clear in an Eldo, even with all the work it's already going to need to be RWD.)

That's going to be so awesome. I can't wait to see how that goes.
