I love the front plate frame. I saw it at an Autozone and had a fit! LOL! They had a gold plated version but all my emblems are silver so I went with the silver frame.

The front plate frame is awesome! I'd totally get the gold for my car cause of the gold package, but afraid someone would steal the frame. ;(

Haha the necklace is actually a sterling silver chain with a severed hood orniment dangling on it. I made it some number of years ago as a reminder of how determined I was to get one. Here's a better pic of my bling.

As for the Caddy, it has around 130k on it. I bought the car back in May of 2004 from a collector. The car was pretty much in the same shape it is now with the exception of the top. The vinyl top was faded and all speckled and beginning to crack. Also most of the emblems were faded badly. SInce I bought the car I replaced the top fully, the two C-Pillar crests and the trunk lock cover. I've been upkeeping the interior with leather treatment and now the headliner is starting to come down over the passenger seat. I'll be having that redone in the spring. I also did brakes, plugs, wires, fuel pump, belts, hoses, tires, new front clip and grille, (freakin' deer) and a brandy new remanned carb. Thing runs like it's brand new.

I also added some personal touches. Leopard print dice, red, white, and green tassle around the column shift, some chimes for driving zen on the turn signal, the classic Italian bullhorn with a crown on top thing and a custom Leopard print "Brougham" CD case. I'm lookiing to add a set of wire wheels, and replace the steering wheel with a new original since the leather is all cracked and flakey at the top. I've had the car since May of 2004 and she has been good to me.

I took it to the shop and they got a remanned from Rochester and put it in. After repeated trips back and forth for free carb adjustments when they finally nailed the adjustment right, it made a huge difference in power.

Light blue metallic huh? Can I see a pic? I got the other firemist color in '89, Metallic Red Firemist.

Well that's normal.... All carbs you have to pump at least twice in the morning after sitting. How do you have a '90 with a carb? Weren't they TBI in '90? I thought '89 was the last year for the carb?

TBI stands for Throttle Body Injector, it's a method of fuel injection. A carburetor has flaps that open up and add air to the fuel.

This is a carb.

This is a TBI system.

Take off your air cleaner assembly and look under it, whichever you see under there is what you have. I believe the 1990-1992 5.0 and 5.7 were all TBI.

Nope. If it's a 5L one it doesn't have fuel injection.

The '90 has the same Olds 307 as your car but a TBI 350 Chevy was optional. The 91-92 had either the 5.0 TBI Chevy or the 5.7 TBI Chevy.
