My car is thumping under braking. So I figure its rotor time.
Anyone ever use the cheap ones at autozone duralast or valucraft?
Can I get anyway with not changing pads?
You may not need new rotors. If they are not to bad, you can have them turned. Likewise, if the pads are still good, reinstall them.

yeah but for 16 buck a piece for the cheapies, if their OK I'll get them.
At this point I think I'm just eliminating things for people to knock down the
price when I sell. Ranger, you've been lots of help.
$16 ea. WOW. It's about $10 each to turn them. Don't know what to say about the quality. I have used Napa's rotors and have had no complaints.

I seem to always warp rotors, whether $20 or $100! I have used the cheap ones at Autozone before. Actually, I'm about to put two on the front of my '94 Deville tomorrow.

Are you sure they are warped?

I've used the auto zone cheap pads before for about a week and a half. The brake dust was unbelievable!!! The smooth stopping of the car was not there either. When I removed them to put on the OEM's with the slit in it(the autozone ones did'nt have the slit in the middle)they seem to be breaking up instead of wearing down. They were also scaring the new rotors I had put on. It's original equipment for me from now on!:yup:
