When my mechanic checked my fuel system he said ALL of my injectors are seeping gas, thus the reason why I have trouble starting the car when it's hot(flooded engine). I definitely don't have the money to replace all the injectors so I'm going to live with it. How often does this happen???
He also told me that I can buy a GM injector cleaner(about $25) and add it to my fuel tank and see if it gets better. Does this make sense because I really don't know.
I have never changed an injector yet. It seems very odd that all 8 go bad at the same time. Have you checked the FPR? That will cause the hot start symptoms you discribe. If that is OK, then I suppose the GM injector cleaner would be worth a shot.

yeah thats almost impossible of all 8 injectors going bad i think your mechanic either wants to overcharge you because he's most likely thinking all 8 injectors are leaking because your car loses fuel pressure once its turned off
It'll be either fuel pressure regulator or the fuel pump I would start with regulator as most likely culprit.
It would be more likely for the pcm(or similar) to have gone bad sending a signal for the injectors to stay open instead of all 8 injectors going bad on thier own from use at the same time.

The FPR was changed and it did nothing. The mech told me he has never seen this before and he suggests that whoever had the car before must of ran something other than gasoline into the fuel system...?
Maybe that's why the car was only seven grand when I bought it last year:hide:
