Cadillac (http://www.theautochannel.com/news/2006/01/19/207809.html) Announces Pricing For The All-New 2007 Escalade (http://www.theautochannel.com/news/2006/01/19/207809.html)

Detroit January 18, 2006; Cadillac announced today that pricing for the all-new 2007 Escalade, scheduled to hit dealerships in February, will start at $57,280 manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) including destination charges for the all-wheel drive (http://www.theautochannel.com/news/2006/01/19/207809.html) variant available at launch. This price for the 2007 Escalade represents a carry-over entry price relative to the outgoing 2006 Escalade (http://www.theautochannel.com/news/2006/01/19/207809.html) while the vehicle is all-new inside and out. The 2007 Escalade provides several new features as standard equipment including; a power liftgate, remote starting, side-curtain airbags, Bose 5.1 Surround audio system (http://www.theautochannel.com/news/2006/01/19/207809.html) and others adding thousands of dollars to the content value of the all-new Escalade.

I Think If They Already Announced The Msrp, Then They Should Have All The Option Prices Too. The Dealer Should Know By Now.
I Was To A Dealer In Northern Blvd. Ny. On The 17th And They Didn't Know A Thing ( Or They Wouldn't Say), Orders Were Only Taken Without Pricing.

I am waiting to see the price I will pay, it's invoice plus $200.00, the dealer called this morning and told me the sticker price of my new truck is $64,760.00, he told me it's suppose to be built either the end of next week or the beginning of the following week. That was all options less middle seat DVD entertaiment system.

I have no found the options on the internet, I got them from the dealers order book. Don't know what kind of deal my dealer would give you, I will ask when he calls me back, today or Monday, I have personally purchased over 30 cars/SUV's from this dealership, so they give me good deals, I even went to a local dealership down the street from me, and their deal was pretty close, but gave me much less from my 03' Escalade. :)

I saw one of the 2007 Tahoes yesterday, so i'm assuming the Escalades should be coming real soon!

Good question. We're likely to be servicing our list for most of February. Most of them will probably sell at sticker in the beginning. People that would like a large discount should have to wait behind those with their checkbooks out. It stinks, but that's the business. Quite hard to have your cake and eat it too with a new release like this. We sell more Escalades than anyone in the country, so our allocation should be rediculous. By March we'll have plenty on the ground for anyone that's interested.

Heated and COOLED seats, and heated steering wheel, without this package you get just heated seats, at least that is what I was told. :)

Thanks for the heads up. That is no bargain there. No way will I pay Msrp. With future gas prices in doubt and the shift away from Full size Suv's to crossovers I doubt many dealers will be able to play the Msrp game.

I don't think low trade in values are going to help much either.
Used to be you could keep a vehicle for 3-4 years and if it was in Excellent shape when trading it in you could get a new one and only have to finance about 10-$12,000 .
The way things look now .. even after only 2 years ..it will be financing 14-$16,000 after trade in.
Not helping the consumer much.
