I have a 2000 DHS with a growl & rumble coming from the steering column when trying to move the power telescoping steering wheel back towards the dash, sometimes it works fine others sounds like it is trying to eat itself alive. Going out is no problem and neither is tilt up or down.

Any ideas are welcome.
