: Great dealer experience - Mod friendly

Took my V to Camargo Cadillac in Cincinnatti with the dreaded whine. Service manager is Al Wellen. Dropped the car of at 10AM monday (got brand new CTS as a loaner and they apoligized that they didn't have a better one).
Got called at 4:30 tuesday and was told the car was ready with new diff (verified it is the 2006). No mention of the mods (Volant, Cags, B&M shifter). Asked how he felt about installing mods including Maggie and he said no problem. I believe that they feel that as long as the mod is not DIRECTLY the cause of the warranty problem they would honor the warranty (as they should). Class act

i think most dealers don't care, but area reps are the ones who could and make the decision to cover or not. also, don't mod your car at the dealership it leaves a trail. went through this on my last car, and i didn't add anything to the tune of a supercharger. also there have been a few that have denied for stealthv tunes.

Great news to hear of another dealer that is reasonable.
