i have a 1993 cadillac seville sts.. well what happend was that i had a local repair shop try to rebuilt my motor well to make a short story the guy skipped town with my money and never gave me back my old motor or my money ($1700).. well now im stuck w/o a motor i still have the car with everything but the long block.. i was wondering can any 4.6 northstar motor fix in that car? because i found a 2000 northstar motor from deville and im wondering if i can put that in my car? let me know im new on here by the way and i need help! thanks

no way the 2000 used a completely redesigned N* you need a vin 9 N* from a 93-95 STS or ETC

Actually I think you have to stay with a '93/'94. I think '95 is when they switched from MAP to MAF sensor and your PCM would not read it correctly plus the wire loom would be wrong. I think the intake was also changed and the injectors are external to the manifold as opposed to internal on the '93/'94.

I found this engine on ebay while browsing and seemes like a good find. The seller mentioned to me that it had been in storage since new, but was slightly damged (brace for engine mount broken off, but fixable). The bidding has already ended for it, but nobody bid on it I don't think.
