MWA 01-17-06, 08:50 AM The CVRSS position sensor provides an analog voltage (0 to 5 volts) to the CVRSS control module which represents the position between the body and the wheel. The CVRSS control module provides the sensor with an 8 volt supply. The sensor is also grounded through the CVRSS control module. There are so many sensors that they often fail, I have a lumbar sensor on my driver's seat that needs to be replaced. Clear the code and see if it returns....if it does then check a service manual for further test description/repair steps. Helm, Inc.com in Michigan often runs sales on the three volume set that will save you bucks on any repairs. Good luck and no one who is serious here will give you any flak on questions on your Cadillac- we all love em. Krashed989 01-17-06, 05:48 PM I don't know why, but about 70% of the time when you get that code, it's usually a computer fart. Just clear it and see if it comes back, if it does then you know that its not a computer fart and you may need to replace that sensor. Replacing that sensor is a very easy job also. | |
