Ive recently noticed that when driving at 45 degree and over speed bumps (happens in normal driving, it just so happens that I could duplicate it for the tech this way), I notice a clunck sound comming form ther front suspension area, more specifically around the trans/engine area. The service manager thought it was a bad left front strut and replaced it but without resolving the issue. They re-tighted all the front suspesion bolts and the noise got reduced but it is still present. Ive read about v's with bad engine mounts but I dont know if this is this case. Any ideas? The service department is ready to call this a case of "all of them do this":helpless:

Thanks

Have them look real hard at the front sway bar and it's attaching points. If it was a strut the it shouldn't matter what angle you hit the bump. When you raise one wheel and not the other you bring the anti-sway bar into the mix. When you hit the same size bump at the same time with both wheels the sway bar dosen't do anything.
