Hi, folks. A few weeks back my wife's '94 Concours NorthStar started getting difficult to start first time in the morning. If I hold the accelerator to the floor and crank it 'till it starts to 'hit', it finally starts ...but with a gas smell, white smoke and rough run for the first few minutes. It starts great as usual the rest of the day. She told me the check engine light came on briefly one day last week, and I pulled up a code PO83. She also said that it backfires sometimes when pulling a hill. For the record, It has 118K and I put new plugs in last summer. This is a first for this car. It has always performed top notch. Any suggestions will be much appreciated. Thanks!!
