Might as well add to the muscle car craze, if you could have a PAIR of the old (70's) and modern muscle cars, which pair would you pick (that's a tongue twister!)?

This was actually a very easy choice for me. The pairings you chose weren't very good for me.
Loved the '69 Camaro (who didn't?), but hate the new retro design. Loved the '69 GTO but hate the "proposed" replacement for the current one. Was never a big Charger fan so forget that couple. Never liked the '67 Mustang, only liked the second body style ('69-'71) so that ones a dud. Hate the old and new Shelby's so that's never going to float for me.

Just because of what the GT500 was back in its day. I'd have picked the GTO if you had put '66 for the first year though.

I've always been a Camaro kinda guy.

I'm two for two.

Owned two Z28's and totalled two......something tells me I'm pushing my luck if I get another one.

(I had a 1981 and a 1998)

ehh. The question should be "Pick a pair of real modern PONY cars" since thats what most of these are. I'd pick the Camaro's probably though.

I chose the Challenger combo. If Dodge builds the concept it would be cool but they are kinda scraping the bottom of the barel building something they did 35 years ago. They can't win though. I don't think the Charger should ever have four doors and they did that. At least they are doing cool stuff though.

I'd get a pair of Z cars; a Datsun 240Z and a Nissan Z :duck:

j/k:p

None of the new cars really impress me much though, well, the Challenger looks good, but I'm not a MOPAR fan...I'll just stick with Cadillac for the time being..;)
