Recently, out of nowhere my car will feel like it loses power and shifts down or something the engine light comes on and the only one I see is p056, but it usually only lasts like 5 seconds or so. What exactly is the problem?

It would be helpful to know what year and model car you have.

The translation for the code is "Transmission Input Speed Sensor." The sensor may be bad or the wiring or connector has a problem. I think if you use the Search feature above and look for P056 or Transmission Input Speed Sensor, you'll find lots of information about it and how to fix it.

My car has lost every gear except one. The last code that turned on was po56 and I did a clear codes and I have no codes at all and only ONE gear what the heck is going on. I can't go over like 40kph without reving way high. The guy at Cadillac doesn't think the po56 would cause it to lose gears. Any help? Also Was told its a 4T60 transmission

You should have a 4L80E. Losing gears is often solenoids but you would get different codes. Recheck the codes.

Does anyone know about the TCC PWM selonoid for a 2000 Deville? I am getting a P1860 code. How difficult is it to replace?

That should be a 4T80-E transaxle. Either that guy is a jackass or someone is seriously misinformed. I would never buy a 1993 though.

Besides the fact of whatever transmission I have, does anybody have any clues why I lost all my gear? should I just replace the both shift solenoids I still have no codes, what else causes the limp mode

I would take the pan off and check the solenoids for being cracked/breaking.
